About Us
Casual Delights was founded by Indra Hoover, a former computer programmer. As her children began school, Indra's love for baking led her to start Casual Delights. Growing up seeing her mom's bakery and cookie factory, plus living in one of the spice islands of Indonesia surrounded by growers and exporters of vanilla beans, nutmeg, cloves and coconuts, she naturally leaned towards creating tasteful baked items.
After taking some European baking classes, she launched the business offering a line of wedding cakes, biscotti, hand-rolled chocolate truffles and custom decorated cookies. Somewhat old-fashioned from its handmade aspect and not compromising in the quality of its ingredients, the products of Casual Delights are intended to stand out on their taste and quality...simple yet elegant.
